Service, steaks, and cocktails were all sublime. I have been to The Fountain Room twice. The first time was maybe a couple of months after they had opened and the second time was about a week ago. I really like the classy, vintage ambiance of this place and would love to get the full experience at night to see how the lighting looks. My first time here, my wife and I shared lobster bisque and the caesar salad for appetizers and they were both phenomenal. We still talk about that lobster bisque, it was *chef's kiss*. My wife had the fried fish and I ordered the wagyu meatloaf. A unique menu item that some people may turn their nose up to, but it is delicious (and still a menu item years later). My visit last week was with a larger party and I had a couple of specialty cocktails that were great. For my entree, I ordered a steak. Cooked rare, I thought they did an excellent job. Myself and two others ordered shareable sides as the steaks do not come with sides. Truffle fries, lobster mac and cheese, and roasted cauliflower - all were incredible. Excited to come back here, this time to experience the cozy bar space if possible.

where do I start...... I came here with some friends and was blown out of the water. we originally came here for cocktails and ended up getting food at the bar. we had the seafood tower, prime rib slider, oysters and crudo. a lot of those things i've never had before but it exceeded my expectations. I am in love with this place. also, if your looking for eye candy while you eat, your in the right place

I've visited the Fountain Room for a drink a few times with coworkers but had the chance to visit for dinner! It's a beautiful restaurant in a prime location! We sat at a large table that was perfect for our group of 8. As a gluten free gal, I didn't see a ton of appealing options that were on the mid-budget range. There are already so many fancier, upscale restaurants in this area. Nothing about The Fountain Room particularly stood out, but the food was satisfactory.

We came to The Fountain Room to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. Upon arrival they gave up a card signed by all the staff. Our server was super sweet and very welcoming. We got there about an hour after they open and it was super cute inside and also very clean. We were able to get a window seat that looked out to the entrance of the Bottleworks Hotel. We parked on the street, and since it was a weekday, you do have to pay for parking. There is also a garage close by where you can park your car if you cannot find street parking. Our food was... just ok. The lobster and crab dip tasted like Tuna Salad from Kroger and was $17. My husband wasn't a fan of his meatloaf dinner he had chosen. I did like my scallops. The presentation of all the food items were amazing (10/10) but the taste was about (7/10). Everyone tastebuds is different. We shared a bottle of Resling that was surprisingly inexpensive. I would recommend going for the ambience and even a nice cocktail or wine.

Had a great dinner at The Fountain Room before the premiere of The Duel in Indy! Our server was very pleasant, the food was absolutely delicious, and the inside of The Fountain Room is SO CUTE! I haven't been to a Clancy's restaurant that I don't absolutely love. My only drawback from this place is the sides for the steaks are sold separately as shareable sides, but luckily my fries were enough for me and my boyfriend considering the portions sizes were huge! Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Started off with the lobster bisque. Perfectly rich and creamy. I'd eat that everyday. The pork shank was an unusual order for me, but the waiter recommended it. The man knew what he was talking about though, because it was juicy, tender and flavorful. It comes with a creamy polenta, mushrooms and a demi glaze. I ate the whole thing. My girlfriend got the meatloaf, but it was kinda dry and way too peppery. Wouldn't order that again. Everything else way yummy though.

Really enjoyed our happy hour at The Fountain Room! I enjoyed the circle city cosmo, which had an amazing flavor with the rhubarb addition and I will definitely return just to have this drink again. We went a little early for dinner, so we just split a bunch of apps, two of which were part of the happy hour special. We had amazing service (shout out Zacharias) and the interior was beautiful.

Loved this upscale but unassuming restaurant where everything is hoppin' on Mass Ave. Metered parking spots on the street are hard to find - I chose to use the public parking at the end of the street for $6.00 with a short, pleasant walk to the restaurant. My waygu burger was perfectly cooked, with cheddar cheese, bacon, and jam on a brioche bun with truffle fries. The lobster bisque was nice and creamy, with some large lobster pieces. Our server Carlie was attentive without being overbearing and let us take our time. My friends enjoyed the meatball appetizer dish, lettuce wedge salad, and barbecued ribs. Recommend reservations.

I've had The Fountain Room on my list since it opened, but it just seemed like the kind of place you needed to be celebrating something to go to. I finally got the chance to try it today. It was a hit with all of my family members which is hard to do. We stopped in around 10 when they opened on a Sunday for brunch. I made a reservation before since I wasn't sure but we really didn't need one. There were several other groups of people dining in but we were all spread out so it still felt fairly private. The brunch menu is short and sweet but it seems like you can't go wrong with anything you choose. My mom had the biscuits and gravy breakfast, which she loved. My brother had the wagyu burger but his favorite was the side of breakfast potatoes. He raved about the potatoes. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of fruit. The sandwich was delicious. My only complaint is I was expecting more heat from the horseradish, but it's still the best French dip sandwich I've ever had. We started with the Brie brûlée and coffee, which was also delicious. All the staff were friendly. Our server Carly was great! The decor is definitely a vibe. We're already planning our next trip back.
